From the Daily Wipe:
"The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee announced the endorsement Thursday on her Facebook page, describing Fallin and two female congressional candidates she also endorsed as 'liberty loving "Mama Grizzlies."’"
"Mama Grizzlies," Christ!
I can't believe that Palin didn't endorse State Senator Randy Brogdon, Mr. Oklahoma Teabagger!
I have no doubts that Mary Fallin will be the Republican nominee in the fall and mostly likely our next Governor.
The contest on the Democratic side for Governor pits Lt. Governor Jari Askins against Attorney General Drew Edmondson. I've no clue who I'm going to vote for in the primary next month but I'm leaning toward Edmondson.
Mary Fallin for Governor
Randy Brogdon for Governor
Jari Askins for Governor
Drew Edmondson for Governor

Palin 2012

I saw this over at the Democrats of Oklahoma Community Forum in this thread. It was good to have a laugh first thing in the morning.

Hypocrite
Hypocrite - a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. See also Sarah Palin.

Hockey mom extraordinaire, Sarah Palin gives President Obama a hard time about his use of teleprompters during speeches yet has to rely on crib notes on her hand!
Palin also takes offense to Rahm Emanuel using the word retarded yet has no problem with Rush Limbaugh using the term?
Typical politician. What a maverick...

Going Rogue
The new book by Sarah Palin, "Going Rogue" is due out in bookstores November 17th, well ahead of its original release time of spring. I guess she and her ghostwriters have been busy at work on the project since she announced her "retirement" as chief executive of Alaska.Anyone plan on buying the book, either as a fan or out of morbid curiosity? I thought I would pick up a copy in case I ever run out of toilet paper or in case I need something to burn for heat during next seasons "ice storm of the century".

Palin to resign as Alaska governor!
I guess this all has something to do with basketball. It is "time to pass the ball for victory". That is if the GOP hopes to have any future! I guess now instead of fulfilling her elected duties as the top executive of Alaska, she can go out and make speeches and money (for herself). Or maybe she'll have time to grab a beer with Joe Sixpack, or even with some of my friends, Joe Twenty Drafts, Five Shots and an Eight Ball. Farewell governor Palin... I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard from the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate. In the meantime, you won't be missed!
